Mr.Kaplinski is a world acclaimed artist establishing himself in the west for the last 36 years. He received his education at the Chicago Art Institute and the American Academy of Art. His Forte' is the medium of watercolor handled in the traditional transparent way that he has taken to new heights, working with vibrant colors to create his dynamic compositions.

"My paintings are bold, colorful and creative. They have the guts of fine art and are statements of visual power. A great deal of my time is spent working on location in order to gain insight into my landscape subjects. In the studio I take the most appealing designs and reinforce them with my own personal viewpoint. Color is important to me. I utilize it in its purest form with clarity and crispness. The goals of landscape painting that I have established are the very highest. The overwhelming design of nature is my inspiration."
