Kai Sa was born at Zuni Pueblo located 45 miles south of Gallup in New Mexico, November 11, 1918.

Studied some art at Santa Fe Indian School where he illustrated the book "Sun Journey" by Ann Nolan Clark.

Kai Sa is a natural talented painter, he has exhibited many places in the Southwest and has taken many prizes.

He here portrays the animals he loves, in his own free style. We feel Kai Sa is an outstanding animal painter among his own people.
