Bear Lake is one of the best known and most frequently visited on the lakes in the National Park and also affords some of the most noted view found in the region. It is a large sparkling rock bound lake from whence wonderful vistas up Glacier gorge to Long's Peak to the south and Hallet's Peak to the west can be obtained.
